The new Semester Halls' Give it a Go programme is here and we're kicking the year off with a free Zumba class to help you meet those new year resolutions to get fit!

Zumba is a fun way to stay fit and get exercise into your day. Dance to great music, spend time with your friends and burn off a ton of calories while you're at it... you won't have to feel guilty about pigging out over the weekend!

Exclusively for Halls residents, this free class is taking place every Tuesday evening at 6pm for eight weeks in the Herculaneum Room at Carnatic Halls. Residents from any Hall not just Carnatic are able to take part but classes are strictly limited to 30 people.

THIS IS THE FINAL CLASS IN AN EIGHT WEEK SERIES. YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE ATTENDED A PREVIOUS CLASS TO ATTEND THIS ONE.

If you are taking part you will need to bring with you:

  • A suitable top and pants/leggings for physical exercise.

  • A bottle of water

  • That's it!

Please let the instructor know prior to the class if you have any health problems which could affect your exercise.

No large jewellery or watches.

It is advisable that you eat approximately 2 hours before the class.
